Performance to Go the Distance

As an all-electric pickup, the 2023 Lightning offers two battery options for you to choose from: a standard battery that helps the truck’s powertrain achieve 452 horsepower and a 7,000-pound maximum towing capacity, and an extended range option that increases strength to 580 horses and a 10,000-pound tow rating.

With the standard battery, you can get up to 240 miles of driving range on a single charge, while the extended range battery offers an estimated 320 miles, making both perfect for long-distance road trips. Four-wheel drive comes as an available option and allows the truck to conquer the toughest terrains without hesitation.

Comfort Amenities and Technology

The truck’s cabin is as comfortable as it is luxurious, with premium seating fabrics like leather trim available, heated and ventilated seats up front, heated seats in the rear, and a multicolor ambient lighting feature that lets you choose which color you want to illuminate the interior with. The Wi-Fi hotspot can be accessed by multiple devices at once, and the SYNC infotainment system puts voice command technology, navigation guidance, smartphone compatibility, and entertainment on a full-color touchscreen.

Outside, the power-operated tailgate not only releases with the push of a button on your key fob but is also durable enough to perform work on, and it’s complemented by both the Pro Power Onboard electricity generator in the back and the Onboard Scales cargo-weighing feature in the bed.

Smart Safety-Monitoring Systems

Safety is taken to the next level in this pickup, with advanced systems like Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and the Adaptive High-Beam Headlamps all reacting to hazards on the road to help prevent collisions. The first two systems make sure you’re not approaching other vehicles too quickly and can alert and intervene if needed, while the last system adapts to environmental lighting changes and the headlights from other vehicles.

While on highways, the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) helps you ensure that your blind spot zones are clear before making lane changes, and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) can notify you immediately when it detects inadequate air pressure in any of your tires.

Doing away with fuel while still providing outstanding performance, the 2023 Lightning combines the best of both worlds with all-electric versatility and first-class luxury and tech features. Contact us today at Jordan Ford to get a closer look at this stylish pickup’s other features, and we’ll be ready to answer any questions you have while you’re here.
