All-new for Ford is the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor, a purpose-built truck made for off-road trails and adventure featuring cutting-edge technology and an improved build. The Tremor line falls between the Raptor desert racer and the FX4 off-road trim, establishing itself equally as a daily driver and off-road machine. See why we’re happily introducing the Ford F-150 Tremor.

Trims Unique to the Tremor

The three unique trims on the 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor are based on regular F-150 trims with Tremor specific modifications for off-roading, such as sheet metal, hardware, and technology. Orange highlights abound over the exterior and interior, as well as hoods and grills unique to the Tremor. The trim levels are defined as a standard, mid, or high equipment group and are equipped on a SuperCrew cabin with a 5.5-foot bed.

Built for the Toughest Terrain

Each trim level on the Tremor has a front bash plate, based upon the one found on the Raptor, and is designed to protect against any obstacles you may encounter. Improved driveline and suspension offers you better control on the roughest of trails. An extra inch of front clearance and a 1.5-inch additional clearance in the rear is also gained with these improvements. The Tremor has a 27.6-degree approach angle, 24.3-degree departure angle, and a 21.2-degree breakover angle. The Raptor’s four-wheel-drive transfer case and a locking rear differential are also included.

Tremor-distinct monotube front shocks and twin-tube rear shocks grant the vehicle softer damping at a lower speed. For an appearance that matches its toughness, the Tremor features a blacked-out grille with a black Ford oval with Active Orange highlights and a large puffed-out hood. To further assist you on the trail are 18-inch wheels rolling on 33-inch all-terrain tires.

Plenty of Power

All three Tremor versions feature the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This power plant makes 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque with a towing capacity of 10,900 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,885 pounds. Four-wheel drive is standard on all Tremors.

Technology Fit for the Trail

The Tremor is designed to be a great daily driver, but its true calling is the trail. To this end, the optional Trail Toolbox features many technology options to improve off-roading. The first is the Trail One-Pedal drive, which combines throttle and braking on one pedal. Letting off the gas automatically applies the brake, which is a convenient feature as it can be challenging to operate gas and brakes on a rough trail. The next option in the Trail Toolbox is Trail Turn Assist, which applies the brakes of the inner front wheel on a turn to shorten the turn radius. Finally, the Trail Toolbox offers Trail Control, a cruise-control designed for lower-speed trail use.

The 2021 Ford F-150 Tremor is scheduled to rollout summer of 2021. In the meantime, our team at Jordan Ford in San Antonio is ready to help any questions you may have and provide updates on the Tremor.
