2023 Ford Expedition

You can purchase the 2023 Ford Expedition in six trims: XL STX, XLT, Timberline, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum. In addition to the base trims, you can get the XLT, Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum in an extended length known as the Max. On the XL STX and XLT, you get LED headlights and 18-inch wheels. The Timberline is a more off-road-ready version of the Expedition, featuring a unique exterior trim and dual exhaust. The Limited adds a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free power liftgate, and 20-inch wheels.

The King Ranch has a Stone Gray exterior trim with King Ranch badges and emblems, power-deployable running boards, and 22-inch wheels. The Platinum adds roof rails with crossbars to the long list of standard features. You can add several packages to your Expedition, such as the FX4 Off-Road, Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow, and Stealth Performance.

The same engine powers each trim level of the 2023 Ford Expedition. The power source is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost turbocharged V-6 engine that generates ample power offering 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. You get a 10-speed automatic transmission for a smooth ride in your Expedition. However, on the Timberline and when equipped with the Stealth Performance Edition Package, there is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost High-Output engine that offers a whopping 440 horsepower!

Ford has added many performance enhancements to the 2023 Expedition. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but you can trade that out for the available four-wheel drive for better performance over various conditions and surfaces. You can add the Heavy-Duty Trailer package to maximize your towing capabilities. This package includes a trailer brake controller, 3.73 rear-axle gearing, trailer backup assist, and an upgraded radiator. You can haul up to 9,300 pounds with your properly-equipped Expedition.

If you add the FX4 Off-Road package, you get an electronic limited-slip differential for improved traction, an upgraded radiator, an off-road-tuned suspension, and all-terrain tires for better performance off the beaten path.

Take your place behind the wheel of the 2023 Ford Expedition to discover an interior designed for the comfort of everyone inside. The XL STX features seating for five with a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless entry with a push-button start. You also get a Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker sound system, and a 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The XLT and above have seating for seven or eight, depending on the second-row configuration.

Available features include heated and ventilated seats with massage, a power-adjustable passenger seat, leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, satellite radio, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo.

You get Ford Co-Pilot360 on the 2023 Expedition. This suite of safety and driver-assistance features includes a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, a lane-keeping system, and automatic emergency braking.
