Trim Levels (Exterior)

The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is sold in six trims: Base, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited. The Base trim features a body-color safari-style roof, manual liftgate, power exterior mirrors, two adjustable floodlights, roof rack side rails, configurable daytime running lights, flip-up rear glass, and a bottle opener on the hatch. Higher trims add heat to the outside mirrors, LED signature lighting, LED fog lights, a windshield-wiper de-icer, and black roof rails. The Heritage trims feature a painted Oxford White roof for a unique look, while the Badlands adds metal bash plates and front tow hooks for better off-road performance.

Engine (Power)

Ford offers two engines for the 2023 Bronco Sport based on the trim you select. The Base, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Heritage Limited feature a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that delivers 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. Moving to the Badlands gets you a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. This four-cylinder engine is also optional on the Heritage Limited. Both engines are matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission for a seamless ride.

Performance

The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport has many performance-enhancing features, especially for off-road trail riding. Four-wheel drive is standard across the trims to give you optimal traction and control on and off the road. Electronic traction control and a four-wheel anti-lock braking system keep you in control while you make it to your destination. The Black Diamond Off-Road package adds skid plates to your Bronco Sport to protect the underbelly from bumps on the trail. On the off-road-ready Badlands, you also get an upgraded four-wheel-drive system, an off-road optimized suspension, trail controls, terrain-specific drive modes, a special rear differential, and a 180-degree forward-facing camera.

Interior

Take a seat inside the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport to enjoy the form and function of the interior design. The Base has a six-speaker audio system with an 8-inch touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moving up trims adds features such as keyless ignition and entry, automatic climate control, satellite radio, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless charging, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a household-style power outlet.
