2021 Ford Ranger

Choose from three trims: the XL, XLT, and Lariat to find your perfect Ranger. The pickup comes as a SuperCab with a 6-foot bed and four doors or, the SuperCrew with its 5-foot bed and two smaller half doors. The front of the truck has an impressive appearance with angular headlights, an aggressive grille with the Ford logo, and a dropped fascia. When you add the available STX Special Edition Package to the XL trim, you get 18-inch black-painted wheels with machine-finished edges. Other styling packages include the STX Appearance Package, Black Package, Chrome Appearance Package, and the Sport Appearance Package.

One engine powers the Ranger, a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that pumps out 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The 10-speed automatic transmission, that pairs with the engine, provides seamless shifting.

Available packages and options turn your Ranger into a capable off-road pickup truck. Options include a locking rear differential, off-road-tuned suspension, protective skid plates, and a terrain management system with low crawl control. If you want to add whole packages, choose from the FX2, FX4, or the rugged Tremor package which you can add to the SuperCrew body with four-wheel drive. All trims come standard with rear-wheel drive or the available four-wheel-drive system. Depending on the trim, cab and bed configuration, drivetrain, and available equipment, your Ranger can tow up to 7,500 pounds with a maximum payload capacity of 1,860 pounds.

Depending on which cab configuration you choose, four or five people fit comfortably inside of the Ranger. Add the 310A Package to your XLT to get a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 110-volt outlet. Add the 302A Package and you get nice touches such as power-folding mirrors, power-adjustable, heated front seats, and remote ignition. To get leather upholstery, choose the luxurious Lariat trim. There's plenty of room to hold small personal items or tools with the numerous cubby holes and storage compartments found within the cabin of the Ranger. Except for the base XL trim, Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment system comes with an 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as well as the subscription-based SiriusXM satellite radio. Bluetooth, a USB port, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot come standard on all three trims and you can add the available voice-controlled navigation and a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system.

Having standard and available safety features make the Ranger even more appealing. Across the trims, you'll find a standard rearview camera, MyKey which allows you to pre-set speed limits and volume control, and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking. For more advanced safety features, add the available blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and trailer coverage, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. You can also get front and rear parking sensors.
