2020 Ford Ranger
The 2020 Ford Ranger is a midsize pickup truck that delivers both hefty towing capabilities and maximum potential for off-road adventure. Inside, you'll find supportive seating and all the latest infotainment options.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Choose from three Ranger trim models: XL, XLT, and Lariat. The base XL gives you a great deal on a new truck, and it also supplies 16-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, and a manually locking tailgate. Step up to the XLT for alloy wheels and rear parking sensors. Add the Sport, Chrome, or Black exterior packages to the XLT to tailor the Ranger's exterior style. The 302A package adds a manual-sliding rear window, among other modern conveniences. On the top-trim Lariat, you'll find LED headlights. This model's optional 501A package adds automatic wipers and remote engine start technology.
Engine (Power)
Every Ranger features the same turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. The engine makes 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, giving you plenty of oomph for towing, hauling, and getting up to speed.
Performance
Properly equipped, the Ranger can tow max loads of 7,500 pounds. If you've got a boat or a pair of Jet Skis, this midsize truck is an excellent addition to your driveway. The Ford Ranger is also a peppy little workhorse, giving you the power to haul up to 2,080 pounds of cargo. Add four-wheel drive to your Ranger for a trail-ready performance.
Interior
In addition to choosing between three trim models, the Ranger offers two different body styles. The extended SuperCab comes with a 6-foot bed. The SuperCrew adds a bigger backseat and a 5-foot bed. Both cabins provide excellent passenger space and supportive cushioning.
Move up the Ranger trim levels for a longer and longer list of interior features. The XL comes standard with a Wi-Fi hotspot and a four-speaker stereo system. Basics like air conditioning and an auto-dimming rearview mirror enhance your daily drive. The midgrade XLT trim adds extra comfort and convenience, with dual-zone automatic climate control and complete smartphone integration. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology displays smartphone apps on the XLT's 8-inch touch screen.
Inside the top-trim Lariat, you'll find many of the options from lower trim levels, as well as exclusive comfort features like leather upholstery. You'll also love the Lariat's premium 10-speaker Bang and Olufsen stereo system.
