2020 Ford Mustang
The Ford Mustang takes performance to a new level with the 2020 model. The EcoBoost is better than ever with new performance packages, and you can bump up the power even more with one of the GT models. New for the 2020 model year, a Shelby GT500 makes an appearance with more horsepower than any other Mustang in history. Other than these updates, the 2020 Mustang carries over without any design changes. Here is a quick look.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Mustang comes in five trim levels, and there are three Shelby performance models. The EcoBoost is the entry-level model and has 17-inch wheels and keyless entry, while the EcoBoost Premium adds 18-inch wheels and a rear spoiler. Stepping up the GT models gets you 18-inch wheels, while the Bullitt comes with Highland Green exterior paint, Bullitt badging inside and out, and unique wheels. The Bullitt also removes the spoiler.
A performance package for the EcoBoost and GT model adds 19-inch wheels, summer tires, larger brakes, a larger radiator, and you can also add the Level 2 Performance Package for wider wheels and a rear wing.

Engine (Power)
Power for the Mustang starts with a 310-horsepower turbo four-cylinder engine. This works with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic. A High-Performance Package bumps the horsepower in the EcoBoost up to 330, or you can go with the GT with its 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 460 horsepower. The Bullitt also has the V-8, but in this model, it gets 480 horsepower.
Performance
All the Mustang's engines have plenty of horsepower, but if you want the ultimate Mustang, the new Shelby GT500 is the most powerful Ford production car in history. No matter what Mustang you have, it is fun to drive, offering an engaging ride with its athletic cornering abilities and quick steering feedback.
Interior
Four people can ride in the Mustang with plenty of space for the driver and front-seat passenger. The well-bolstered seats help keep you in place even on the most bumpy ride. The cabin has an upscale feel with high-quality materials and a modern design with some retro touches. In the back, the trunk has 13.5 cubic feet of space, and the rear seats fold down if you need more room. Recaro seats for the front are an available upgrade, along with a heated steering wheel.
Technology includes Ford's SYNC system and FordPass Connect in the base, but just a step up gets you an 8-inch touch screen, the SYNC 3 infotainment system, and an upgraded nine-speaker stereo system. A navigation system is an available add on depending on the model, and you can also get a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system.

Safety Features
A rearview camera comes standard in all models, with additional safety features available as options. You can add equipment such as adaptive cruise control, forward automatic emergency braking, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Forward collision warning is also available along with pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning. The GT models make rear parking sensors standard.
